Watershed is a live-in withdrawal and rehabilitation centre in Wollongong, where we provide support to men and women aged 18 and over on their recovery journey. The six-week rehabilitation program can be accessed after detox is completed, and offers a holistic, evidence-based model of care which includes physical and psychological health promotion, harm prevention, and an introduction to social support networks.
Your Opportunity
The AOD Support Worker role includes assisting with group sessions, taking clients to appointments, supervising self-administration of medication, and maintaining client records. Working as a Support Worker at our Watershed residential alcohol and drug treatment centre, you’ll provide support and supervision to clients undertaking the treatment program.
We are currently looking for casual team members to work a mixture of morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts on a 7-day roster. The hourly rate for this role is between $37.00 - $40.00 per hour plus penalties.
What You’ll Bring
You will need to hold a National Police Check, and a current Australian Drivers Licence. Tertiary qualifications in Alcohol and Other Drugs or related discipline would be highly regarded.
