Machine Operator

Sweet William is a small specialty chocolate manufacturer in Matraville NSW. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Machine Operator to join our team. The role is for a 5 day week (38 hours) Monday to Thursday 6am to 2 : 30pm and Fridays 6am - 12pm.

Job Role :

Operations management of 3 machines, inclusive of :
Moulding line
Chip / button line
Wrapping line
Ability to lead when Production supervisor is not around
Maintain cleanliness in factory
Upkeep of machinery
Monitor product standards and implement HACCP and food standards
Record daily production figures and temperature records
Ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company OHS / QA
Labelling finished cases with proper identification.

Selection Criteria :

Excellent communication skills

Excellent problem-solving ability

Excellent planning and organising skills

Previous experience within the food industry would be favourable

Experience on a Production Line

Forklift licence highly favourable

Salary

55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule :

8 hour shift

Morning shift

Ability to commute / relocate :

Matraville, NSW 2036 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience

Machine operating : 1 year (preferred)

Manufacturing & Utilities Occupations : 1 year (preferred)

Licence / Certification :

Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation :

Australia (required)
