ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the lookout for a Projects Commissioning Lead to take charge of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across our HV Grid Connection projects. This role suits someone who thrives on leading from the front, solving technical puzzles, and keeping things running smoothly from design all the way to handover.

You will be the go-to person for technical guidance, project controls, and ensuring quality commissioning documentation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, support client relationships, and help shape the next generation of commissioning talent through mentoring and leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid skills in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A strong grasp of engineering codes, regulations, and performance standards.
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-discipline HV grid connection projects — ideally in a design, build & commission environment.
  • A sharp focus on HSEQ and a track record of driving commercial performance and client satisfaction.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • RPEQ registration and HV Switching Certificate would be great but not mandatory.
  • A QLD Electrical Fitter Mechanics Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence or the ability to attain one.

WHY US

We value continuous improvement and professional development and we're looking for someone who shares that mindset. You'll be encouraged to maintain and grow your knowledge, embrace new ideas and seek opportunities for innovation within your role.
