Our client, leader in their respective industry, is embarking on a strategic Cyber Security uplift aligned with Essential Eight Maturity Model. To support this initiative, they are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to guide delivery and champion Agile practices across the program.

This is a unique opportunity to join a program with strong executive backing, supporting the uplift of critical cyber controls while shaping Agile delivery within a complex, enterprise environment.

What you’ll be responsible for :

Leading Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Guiding teams on Agile principles and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Working closely with Product Owners, Cyber Security SMEs, and stakeholders to manage and prioritise backlogs
Removing impediments and protecting the team from external distractions
Tracking and reporting on sprint progress
Supporting the implementation of Essential 8 controls
Coordinating cross-functional dependencies and ensuring alignment with wider IT and Security programs
Uplifting Agile maturity and coaching team members across delivery practices

What you’ll bring :

Proven experience as a Scrum Master within cyber security or IT infrastructure programs

Strong understanding of the Essential 8 framework and its implementation challenges

Certification in Scrum (CSM, PSM I / II) or equivalent

Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar Agile delivery tools

Excellent facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and conflict-resolution skills

Ability to navigate a fast-paced and regulated environment

Familiarity with WA State Government Cyber Policy

Understanding of frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or SAFe
