Talent International is searching for an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our utility client based in Fortitude Valley on a 12 month contract basis + likely extensions.

About the role and responsibilities :

The Senior Technical Business Analyst will act as a liaison between the ICT project delivery team, Solution Architect teams, and work across their Information Technology and Operational Technology portfolio of work and capability uplifts as a whole. Projects are ranging from CRM, ERP, Finance, Document Management, HR Systems, Data / Business Intelligence, COTS solutions, GIS and Operational Technology systems, and ideally have a good understanding of system integration (API's / Mulesoft or other).

Essential Requirements :

• 5 + years experience in a Senior Technical Business Analyst position.
• Technical understanding of either Finance, Asset management, CRM, Health & Safety, Risk / Audit, ERP, Document Management, HR or OT Systems highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project / systems integration (API's / Mulesoft or other)
• Ability to identify risks associated with migration from legacy systems and formulate plan required ensure data resilience and business continuity through the transition from legacy system to new solution.
• Strong understanding and experience of the requirement for, and implementation of, data integration between custom-built systems and commercial off-the-shelf systems.
• Strong understanding of business process mapping, gathering of technical, functional and business requirements and translating to business systems solution design and technology selection. Experience in utilities, mining or engineering highly regarded
• Experience in delivering IT projects in Government organisations is highly regarded.
