About the Mother’s Day Classic
The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. The Mother’s Day Classic was founded in 1998 by Mavis Robertson AM, former National Chair of Women in Super (WIS).
