Opportunity

Our client is an ASX listed asset management and services company based in Melbourne’s CBD. They have a great opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join on contract starting ASAP.

6 month initial contract, with good likelihood of further extensions
Central CBD location, hybrid working environment 3 days in office per week
Daily rates negotiable, expected range $700 to $900 depending on experience

Role

This is a mid to senior level Infrastructure Engineer contract. This role will cover a combination of project work to design and build new infrastructure, upgrades, and improvements, as well as BAU support and administration across a busy technology division.

About You

Significant experience as an Infrastructure Engineer

Broad technical skills across AWS cloud, Windows, and Linux

AWS certifications (mandatory) and other relevant tertiary qualifications

Outstanding stakeholder management across business and technology

Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write detailed designs, diagrams etc

Excellent verbal communication skills including engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders, and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and users
