Senior Manager - Technical Accounting - Financial Accounting Advisory Services

The opportunity

As our Senior Manager you’ll work with a wide range of clients on a broad range of issues that matter to their businesses. These will include middle market businesses through to some of the world’s largest companies. You will assist our clients as they experience significant changes and may include preparing for significant transactions (both sale and purchase), assisting with preparing for financial audits or audit remediation.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

  • Proactively lead all aspects of engagements including planning, approach, stakeholder management, commercial engagement outcomes, risk management and building and maintaining high performing teams (including coaching and mentoring).
  • Participating in overall practice strategy development and leading strategy execution.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term productive client relationships.

What we look for

Ideally, you’ll have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • A degree in accounting and / or another appropriate academic major.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
