GARDENER – Hamilton Island

Join the Hamilton Island team as a Gardener and play a vital role in showcasing the beauty of one of Australia’s most iconic holiday destinations. With a team of 30 passionate gardeners, you’ll help keep our island vibrant, green, and unforgettable for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake turf and garden maintenance, landscaping, and construction
  • Implement pest management and plant nutrition programs
  • Safely operate landscape maintenance equipment in line with Workplace Health and Safety procedures
  • Maintain aesthetic standards across all island landscape precincts with meticulous attention to detail
  • Participate in propagation and nursery operations

    • Qualifications

  • Certificate I, II or III in Horticulture or minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Manual driver’s licence (essential)
  • Irrigation knowledge (desirable)
  • Full Australian working rights – unfortunately this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
