Project Engineer - Product Handling

Position Summary A great career opportunity exists for an experienced Project Engineer with Materials Handling / Product Handling experience to work with our Engineering team, based at Mt Gravatt on Brisbane's Southside.

Working as part of a high performing team, you will be responsible for project management, conceptual design and calculations, sales support, working with the drafting and manufacturing teams, and assistance with installation and commissioning when required.

Job Responsibilities Include Project Management.

Keep up to date with the latest Food Machinery and Manufacturing Technology.

Produce Engineering specifications, designs, drawings.

Preparation of Commercial Items schedules.

Commissioning and operator training at customer premises.

Sub-Contractor management.

Remotely supporting the service / commissioning engineers Required Education and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (Degree / Associate Diploma / Trade).

At least 5-10 years' experience as a Project Engineer in conveying and materials handling equipment design and manufacturing essential.

Related experience in the food processing industry will be highly regarded.

Physical Requirements Sound knowledge of engineering standards.

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and in all forms.

Exceptional work ethics and the ability to work to organisational values.
