The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality nursing care to patients / clients of the St George Hospital and Health service consistent with SESLHD and St George Hospital policies, procedures and standards.
St George Radiology nurses are highly skilled individuals, committed to lifelong learning, challenge and teamwork. Our nursing team provides holistic, high quality patient care in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. This role will allow for the opportunity to rotate in all modalities of Radiology including the angiography suite, interventional CT, trauma operation suite, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, emergency, acute care imaging and recovery, across the Kensington Street Building, Acute Services Building and Clinical Services Building.
There are many skills to gain, learning is supported by the NUM, CNE and senior staff. These skills include IV cannulation, ALS, conscious sedation, scrub, scout, implanted devise access and contrast administration.
