Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups to enhance vehicle performance and meet emissions standards
• Test and adjust mechanical systems post-repair to verify proper operation and reliability
• Utilise diagnostic tools and computer systems to troubleshoot and test vehicle parts effectively
• Conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthy certificates or provide detailed reports on required repairs
• Respond to breakdowns by providing on-site mechanical support as needed
• Work on New or Near new trucks and trailers.
