About the role

An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our growing Landside team based in Port Botany. You will be responsible for ensuring sound financial and accounting practices, recording, analysis and planning are in place for DP World’s Landside business. The role is based in Port Botany and reports to the General Manager Finance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare annual budget, plan and presentation and reforecasts at regular intervals throughout the year
  • Overall responsibility of monthly accounts and balance sheet
  • Partner with the Operations team to identify opportunities, highlight issues and improve performance
  • Analysis and reporting on monthly results
  • Review and submit capital expenditure proposals
  • Ensure reconciliations are appropriate and correct
  • Prepare, analyse and make recommendations regarding financial results and assist managers to understand profitability and results generally
  • Oversight, accountability and consolidation of multiple business units
  • Financial modelling on projects and operations to make recommendations for cost reductions or productivity improvements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following :

  • Requires CPA or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial management preferably in the Logistics industry
  • Experience with WAVE Logistics system beneficial
  • Excellent communications skills, written and oral
  • Strong analytical ability and excel skills
  • Absolute accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in partnering with senior management and operations teams
