The Role

As a Sales Assistant at JD Sports, your primary goal is to deliver exceptional customer service, creating memorable shopping experiences and lasting positive connections with our brand.

You should be energetic, genuine, and customer-focused, providing personalized assistance to customers seeking the best products and brands.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating positivity and professionalism
  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to assist customers effectively
  • Providing personalized 1 : 1 customer service
  • Assisting with customer queries and processing sales
  • Collaborating with management and team to achieve KPIs and targets
  • Supporting the team with tasks such as visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and presentation
  • Escalating customer complaints to management
  • Completing mandatory training related to products, policies, and procedures

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or similar customer service roles
  • Ability to deliver excellent service and go above and beyond
  • Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands
  • A positive attitude and team spirit
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm for overcoming challenges and learning new skills
  • Strong communication skills and engagement with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
