Operations Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Manager to join the team.

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of operational excellence.

Leading the operations, developing and implementing a range of customer and business initiatives designed to successfully deliver contracted KPI's, whilst ensuring our facilities continue to operate under a safe and compliant environment.Key Responsibilities : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Vehicle Processing Centre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflowImprove state operational metrics by utilising your proven strategic business planning skills while concurrently managing risksPlan, lead, and control all processing, yard operational services to consistently meet organisational requirementsManaging and delivering agreed business outcomes in a positive and collaborative mannerDrive and ambition to grow our culture of continuous improvementDevelop and lead high performing state team through communication, engagement mentoring and empowermentSuccessfully manage state operations team to deliver contracted KPI's within budgets and costsP&L responsibilities with monthly review and feedback from executive management teamImplement strong financial management practices while building measurable stretch financial targetsConstantly seeking opportunities to lead and participate in business growth initiativesSkills and Experience required : Reliable and dedicated person with drive and energyMinimum 5 years operational management experienceAutomotive industry experience is highly desirableStrong commercial acumenSound financial experience, including P&L interpretation and justificationExperience managing unionised workforce, EBA and Award implementationProven track record driving cost saving and business growth projectsExceptional negotiating and influencing skillsA critical thinker who is naturally inquisitiveCapability to successfully manage multiple deadlines and time sensitive responsibilitiesAbility to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
