Cleaner

The Grumpy Baker is looking for a dependable and detail-focused Cleaner to help keep our bakery clean, safe, and running smoothly. This role is crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment, especially in a setting where flour and other baking ingredients can easily spread.

• Key Responsibilities
• Thoroughly clean bakery work areas, including benches, floors, equipment, and storage spaces
• Regularly remove flour dust and residue from surfaces, machinery, and corners where it can accumulate
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors to reduce slipping hazards caused by flour and food debris
• Clean ovens, mixers, and other baking equipment (exterior only) as required
• Empty bins and manage waste and recycling according to food safety guidelines
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning checklists and food hygiene standards
• Refill cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues
• What We're Looking For
• Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with flour and fine powders
• Experience in cleaning commercial kitchens or bakeries preferred but not required
• Good physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay : Up to $28.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 - 60 per week
