Responsibilities

  • Lead go‑to‑market efforts and accelerate growth in the Australian market for Databricks solutions.
  • Win new business and secure net‑new logos while expanding existing client relationships.
  • Act as the lead sales resource for customers, collaborating with the core sales team and acting as a Databricks specialist.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from planning and prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long‑term partnerships and shaping growth strategies in collaboration with NCS Group, Databricks, and partner ecosystem.
  • Balance hunting new opportunities with farming existing accounts to maximise client value.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development and sales within a systems integrator, ISV, or technology consultancy.
  • Strong background in Data Analytics or Data Platforms (Databricks or Snowflake preferred).
  • Well‑established network across Australian enterprise, government, and technology partners.
  • Skilled in new business acquisition, from lead generation and prospecting through to deal closure.
  • Ability to understand client challenges and translate them into high‑value solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and results‑driven mindset, with resilience under pressure.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and negotiation skills, with a client‑first approach.
  • Confident in presentations, workshops, and coaching to drive engagement.
  • Strategic thinker with adaptability to navigate complex and changing environments.
