The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) protects the state’s environment and heritage, leads climate action, and supports a sustainable transition to a net zero economy. We conserve the state’s natural environment and manage the NSW national park estate, biodiversity, and Aboriginal cultural heritage. We ensure sustainable management of water resources to support the environment, communities, and industry. We acknowledge the custodial responsibilities of Aboriginal peoples of NSW and are committed to meaningful partnerships in environmental management.
