Job descriptionExperience – Minimum 2 years proven skills in sushi preparation (nigiri, maki, sashimi). Knife Mastery – Precision cutting and filleting techniques. Food Safety – Knowledge of hygiene and proper ingredient handling. Teamwork – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Australian Citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply Competitive salary : AUD$60,000 to AUD$70,000 AUD per year Opportunities for growth and development Supportive team and work environment

Position Available :
We’re seeking a reliable and hardworking FULL-TIME Kitchen Hand to support our busy sushi bar team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, we’d love to meet you!
Responsibilities :
- Prepare ingredients – Select, clean, and cut fresh fish, seafood, and sushi rice properly
- Craft sushi – Make nigiri, maki, and sashimi with precise techniques and presentation
- Ensure food safety – Maintain hygiene, proper storage, and avoid contamination
- Engage with customers – Recommend dishes, explain flavours, and provide a great dining experience
- Manage inventory – Track supplies, minimise waste, and keep the kitchen organised
