An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Senior Procurement Officer to join a progressive organisation committed to delivering value and transparency across its procurement activities.

This role will see you take ownership of the end-to-end procurement lifecycle — from strategic planning and tendering to contract execution and performance management. You’ll play a key role in ensuring procurement practices are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational objectives and governance standards.

You will provide expert advice to internal stakeholders, guiding them through procurement and contract management processes while promoting best practice, probity, and value for money. Working closely with leadership, you’ll also contribute to improving frameworks, templates, and policies that underpin procurement excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and deliver the full range of procurement and tendering processes, ensuring compliance with policy, legislation, and governance requirements.
• Partner with business units to plan and execute procurement activities that deliver sustainable and cost-effective outcomes.
• Provide high-level advice on commercial and contractual matters, including tender evaluations and supplier negotiations.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of procurement systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Coach and mentor team members to develop capability and uphold consistent procurement standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications :

You’ll bring proven experience in procurement or contract management, ideally within a government or large corporate setting, along with :

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
