About the role

We’re seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Quality Business Partner to work alongside our construction teams, ensuring every project meets the highest standards of operational excellence.

As a Quality Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our project delivery teams by identifying and managing quality risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing McNab’s Operational Quality Systems across a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and residential builds.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :

  • Collaborating with Project and Site Managers to proactively identify project-specific quality needs and implement tailored solutions.
  • Providing expert advice, training, and hands-on support to site teams to foster a strong quality culture.
  • Interpreting and applying Australian Standards, codes, manufacturer specifications, and accreditation requirements.
  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory changes and guiding teams through compliance requirements.
  • Assisting in the development of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and undertaking compliance inspections and audits.
  • Building strong working relationships with subcontractors to align quality expectations and ensure accountability across all parties.

About you

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in commercial construction who is passionate about quality and continuous improvement.

You will bring :

  • Experience in commercial construction, ideally across industrial and multi-residential projects ranging from $10M–$100M.
  • Prior experience in a quality-focused or site management role within the construction industry.
  • A track record of successfully implementing and maintaining quality systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical, solution-oriented outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Solid IT proficiency, including the use of construction and compliance software tools.
  • Carpentry trade background.
