Job descriptionDeveloping and monitoring operational and financial KPI’s including payment, premium and budget analysis Defining, testing, and delivering metrics, analytics, dashboards and reporting insights that inform operational and planning decisions throughout the organisation Supporting the annual premium setting process including wage and premium forecasting, target premium collection rate and the mine safety levy Reporting on insurance trends using reports written for management, executive and the board. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Business, Statistics or Data Science Experience using Power BI (or similar reporting tool) as a report author and consumer 4+ years’ experience working in a performance / data and analytics role Hands on experience writing SAS, SQL, python or R code Demonstrated time and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Demonstrated behaviours aligned to our company values and culture - we care, we work together, we make a difference Check out our Benefits page to learn more about our Employee Value Proposition! - Fixed term 2 year opportunity | Full time working 7.25 hour days
- Role can be based at any of our CMI offices (Sydney, Speers Point, Woonona or Singleton)
- Hybrid working available
About the role :
We are looking for a detailed and data focussed individual who is eager to apply their knowledge and experience in this Performance Analyst role. Your primary focus will be building analytical capacity within the Coal Mines Insurance (CMI) business line, to support effective decision making and connecting CMI scheme metrics to strategy delivery.
