We are on the lookout for dynamic individuals to lead the technical development of software supply chain security products at Azure.
As a Junior Software Engineer / SWE I , you will be responsible for designing and building products and solutions for strengthening the software secure supply chain security in the cloud-native ecosystem. You will be collaborating with other engineers, product managers to create designs and getting buy-in from the rest of the company and open-source communities, like Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF). This position requires strong collaboration across team and organizational boundaries.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- 2 years experience working in technical engineering / software engineering experience AND proven experience coding in at least one language including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Golang , JavaScript, or Python. Golang is desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent or related technical discipline OR equivalent experience
- Desire to work in open-source, communicating with both team members and open-source contributors asynchronously via GitHub, Slack, and regular community meetings on Zoom.
- Experience writing Golang applications.
- A growth mindset, passion for new technologies, high levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with containers and container security is a plus.Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or other software build systems are a plus.Experience working with software supply chain security build attestations, such as SBOMs and provenance, is a plus.Other Requirements :
