Job Description

This is a key Water Executive Team (WET) role responsible for leadership, growth, and operational oversight of one or multiple Water contracts, projects, and joint ventures with combined revenue between $60M to $200M.

About You

The role provides management and support to the Water business to ensure safe, sustainable, and high-standard delivery to the customer. Building productive internal and external relationships is crucial for ongoing success. The role is accountable for :

• Zero Harm
• Profitability, growth, and cost management, including margin improvement
• Implementing commercial risk and issue management
• Contract variations and retention of existing contracts
• Strategic management of relationships, fostering value-added partnerships
• People leadership, talent management, inclusion, and retention
• Building and maintaining a high-performing team with succession planning
• Quality and standardization, including adoption of The Downer Standard
• Strategic industrial relations and quality people management practices
• Strategic planning
• Efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation
• Compliance with standards and delivery methodologies
