Opportunity

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring all pre‑start, post‑run and day‑to‑day operations tasks are carried out in a timely manner. You will coordinate and supervise operational activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations and optimising operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations and be accountable for the performance of day‑to‑day operational activities.
  • Train, mentor and motivate operations staff to maintain high‑performance standards and promote a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including customer service and maintenance, to coordinate operational activities and resolve issues.
  • Prepare operational reports, performance metrics and other documentation as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimisation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations and company policies and procedures.

About You

  • Prior experience in a similar supervisory role within the waste or logistics industries is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and comprehensive safety management systems.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
