The Role
The Directorate of Navy Governance is seeking an APS6 ICT Business Analyst who will be required to participate in the ongoing development, update and sustainment of the Navy Business Management System (NBMS). You will be instrumental in maintaining the NBMS within Holocentric in support of Navy Library operations. You will also be a key member of a small team involved in the development and process mapping of Navy's systems of management, processes and procedures within Holocentric.
Not only will you be directly maintaining the NBMS content in Holocentric, you will also be responsible for acquiring and applying business analysis methods and techniques in order to assist other Navy stakeholders in the maintenance and development of their respective NBMS content.
Well-developed Business Analytic and project management skills are essential. Applicants will need to demonstrate experience against some / all of the key duties of the role which are :
About our Team
Working to the Director Navy Governance, you are part of the team that is embedded in a dynamic environment. You will be part of the Navy Library team, which manages the NBMS on behalf of the Chief of Staff Navy Headquarters. The NBMS consists of two components : a digitised policy component and a digitised process map component. These two components are linked and together form the online repository for Navy's policy, doctrine, frameworks, systems of management, orders, processes, instructions and procedures that facilitate the achievement of the Navy Mission. The N Library team is a blended ADF and APS workforce, and whilst this position is located within the process mapping component of the NBMS you will be expected to also assist with updates to the publication component during NBMS release activities if required.
Our Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated; have well developed Holocentric skills, and preferably a background in either testing, process mapping or the development of Holocentric systems.
