About the role
As a Data Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the quality, integrity, and validity of asset data across multiple systems, including GIS Systems. You will develop processes to ensure optimum spatial data quality and provide technical support and advice to all business units and stakeholders. Your role will involve regular system investigations, data audits, and the development of functional training needs for system users. You will also be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining detailed design, technical, system, user, and process documentation. Additionally, you will act as a key point of contact for liaising and consulting with stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities include :
You are an experienced professional with a strong background in data quality management and spatial data management. You have a proven track record in managing the quality, integrity, and validity of data within GIS systems, particularly in the Construction, Energy / Electrical, or Utilities industry. Your technical expertise includes working with Asset Management Systems, GIS data structures, relational databases, and system interfacing. You are adept at identifying data quality issues and providing recommendations for improvements. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex workloads under tight deadlines make you an asset to any team. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to prepare complex business and technical documents and develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
