About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and curious Mobile Developer to join our Orebody Intelligence team in Perth, Brisbane, or Newcastle. In this hands‑on role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to build mobile apps that connect to real devices, operate at the edge, and make a visible impact in the mining value chain.

You’ll focus on developing cross‑platform features using Flutter, with opportunities to work on Android, iOS, and towards integration into autonomous systems. You’ll help design and implement robust Bluetooth (BLE) connections, contribute to enterprise‑grade integrations, and collaborate with system engineers across hardware, firmware, and cloud. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and ship features that customers use in the field.

What you will be doing

• Develop and maintain Flutter features for Android / iOS, with exposure to Windows / Linux desktop.
• Implement Bluetooth (BLE) connections, data handling, and user flows that work reliably in challenging environments.
• Contribute to integrations across hardware, edge apps, and cloud services (APIs, authentication, telemetry).
• Build offline‑first experiences with robust sync and error handling.
• Participate in a Product Operating Model team that delivers business outcomes.
• Participate in system engineering reviews with mechanical, electronic, and firmware engineers.
• Help define and test interfaces between software and hardware.
• Engage in customer discovery, backlog refinement, and focus on delivering outcomes over outputs.
• Write tests, automate builds, and learn CI / CD and performance profiling.

What you will bring
