About the Client

A leading Western Australian–owned mining services and maintenance provider is gearing up for a major Pre-Shutdown Works program at a Pilbara iron-ore site. With three distinct work packages spread across the operation, they’re seeking experienced Shutdown Supervisors to join their high-performing shutdown team under the direction of the on-site Construction Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobilisation & Leadership – Lead an initial team of 2–4 Supervisors from 18 May, expanding by 4 more in June.
• Electrical Scope – Manage cable pulling, cable-tray installation, new cable runs, MCC terminations and minor commissioning activities.
• Roster & Planning – Coordinate 8:6 swing rosters (or 2:1 on request), develop daily work plans and allocate resources to meet shutdown milestones.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance – Hold and enforce S26 certification: facilitate toolbox talks, JSA reviews and site risk assessments in line with client HSE standards.
• Stakeholder Liaison – Arrange and host paid one-day on-site interviews and assessments (including S26 training days) with the Construction Superintendent.
• – Confirm candidates’ prior site experience and readiness to work under established site leadership.

• Competitive Rates: $104 / hr Dayshift + 15% Nightshift loading
• Fully Funded S26 Training: Paid course and on-site assessment days before shutdown commencement
• Roster Flexibility: Standard 8:6 swing, with 2:1 available upon request
• Contract Duration: 6–8 weeks (dates to be confirmed as the shutdown approaches)
• Diverse Scope: Hands-on leadership across piping, boilermaking, rigging, electrical and civil works
• Strong Support: Work alongside an experienced shutdown management team, with clear pathways for follow-on maintenance opportunities
