The Opportunity :

Komatsu Australia is currently seeking a workshop technician to join their team in Mackay. As a workshop technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and machinery in the workshop. This position requires a skilled technician with experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical problems, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Roster : 7 days on 7 days off

What we are looking for :

• Qualified Plant Mechanic
• Experience with component overhaul and construction machines.
• Forklift and Dogging ticket is desirable
• Demonstrated Commitment to Safety
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised
• MR classification driver’s licence
