Locum Speech Pathologist – upto $80 per hour + super - Katherine, NT

Salary Type : Locum rates upto $80 per hour + super

Experienced Speech Pathologist required for this publicly funded community service in the Northern Territory . You will join a team of 8 allied health clinicians and cover the following caseload :

  • Mostly paediatric communication cases, outpatients in the clinic and outreach to remote communities. The region is quite diverse in its population with high migrant population and high proportion of Aboriginal people. They work on a transdisciplinary model so generally two disciplines work together and travel together (e.g., SP and OT, OT and PT, etc.). Some adults but prioritizing paeds. There is a paediatric inpatients and paediatric feeding / swallowing outpatient service; however, this caseload is negotiable and not essential to the locum role.
  • The role involves occasional travelling to remote communities in the Big Rivers region by 4WD or light aircraft, staying overnight during weekdays.
  • Join a team of 2 OTs, 1 Physio, 1 Social worker, 2 Public Health Dietitians, 1 Allied Health Assistant, 1 Team Leader.
  • Return travel reimbursed and free accommodation for locums.

    • Locum rates of $70-$80 per hour super (depending on experience).
