About the Opportunity

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, based in Osborne SA, you will drive efficiency, innovation, and process optimisation across our organisation. This role will focus on identifying areas for improvement, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance productivity and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the development, implementation, and measurement of approved cross‑functional CI initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in accordance with our CI Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process enhancements and cost‑saving strategies.
  • Analyse workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Promote a culture of CI, leading by example, coaching champions and business stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIS) related to process improvements.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a highly complex project environment in a role that embeds CI practices and actively champions CI culture.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations, project management, change management, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience using Lean, Six Sigma, and / or other process improvement methodologies (certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
  • Highly proficient in process mapping, data analysis, and project management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Eligibility

    This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. To check your eligibility, please visit the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website.
