Role and Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment within a multi-disciplinary teamCoordinate consumers’ recovery plans and participate in quality improvement activitiesContribute to clinical supervision and various administrative responsibilities as requiredEngage in outreach / inreach and clinic-based appointments with vulnerable children in out-of-home care and families with ROSH concerns, addressing complex mental health / trauma / drug and alcohol issuesWhat You'll Be Doing
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing evidence-based, strengths-focused, recovery-oriented assessment and treatment, coordinating recovery plans within a multidisciplinary team, and participating in quality improvement activities and administrative responsibilities.
Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney, serving children, adolescents, adults and older persons with a focus on community health and wellbeing. Services include mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination and therapy, and collaborate with inpatient services, GPs and other organisations.

Relevant qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist (AHPRA-registered), or qualified Social Worker eligible for AASW registration, or CSU graduates : Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health)Provide a detailed description of interest and motivation, highlighting relevant skills and experience in assessment and treatment for mental health consumersDescribe a time you worked as part of a team to solve a problem, including communication skills and how you prevented recurrenceAustralian C-Class driver’s license (including P1 / P2).
