About the service and role

This welcoming Early Childhood Service is centrally located in Wagga Wagga, close to schools, parks, and local amenities. You will work alongside a team of experienced and passionate educators who value connection, creativity, and collaboration.

Role and responsibilities

  • As the ECT in the Kindergarten room, you will :

    • Lead a team of educators and guide meaningful learning experiences

  • Design and evaluate programs tailored to each child\'s unique interests and strengths
  • Build relationships with families, schools, and the local community
  • Help the centre maintain or exceed the National Quality Standard

    • Our approach is informed by contemporary research and includes frameworks like Circle of Security, Project-Based Learning, and the Abecedarian Approach, giving you access to some of the most advanced early childhood pedagogies.

    Qualifications

  • NESA registration (mandatory)
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent
  • At least 12 months of experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
  • Availability to work full-time on a rotating roster
  • Confidence in having meaningful discussions with families
  • Strong understanding of the planning cycle and early learning frameworks
