The Australian Government has announced the stabilisation of existing business registers and their transfer from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) back to ASIC, under the Registry Connect (RC) Program. This program aims to deliver reliable, secure, trusted, and efficient registry services to support the economy for the benefit of all Australians.

• Locations : Sydney, Melbourne, Traralgon, Canberra and Brisbane
• 24 Month Fixed Term Position
• Salary from $168,164 to $181,284 (depending on experience) + 15.4 % superannuation

The team

The Registry Connect Data team provides expert advice and support to ASIC's Registry Connect Program, ensuring that all deliverables are consistent, compliant with enterprise policies and aligned with industry best practice.

The role

The Data Solution Analyst will support the teams responsible for driving product development and the delivery of registry and regulatory outcomes. In this role you will ensure that data governance, capabilities and best‑practice data management are effectively embedded into requirements and delivery. You will also help shape deliverables so they leverage modern data techniques, technologies and solutions to achieve high‑quality, sustainable outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and forward‑thinking data professional who combines strong analytical capability with a deep understanding of modern data practices. They will excel at translating business needs into well‑defined technical requirements and will work confidently with product owners, delivery teams and stakeholders to embed data governance, data quality and contemporary data solutions into program outcomes. They will also bring excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail, along with the ability to solve problems creatively, navigate complexity and drive uplift across data processes, tools and capabilities.
