2026 Registrar – Vascular Anomalies and Paediatric Dermatology HM25 – HM30

About The Role

This is a Part Time / Fixed Term position at 24 hrs per fortnight within the Department of General Medicine.

The Vascular Anomalies and Paediatric Dermatology Registrar position provides the opportunity for a paediatric advanced trainee to gain expertise in these fields. You will work in partnership with a multidisciplinary team, with close collaboration with general medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, laser, ophthalmology, and interventional radiology departments. You will provide specialist care to children with vascular anomalies and skin diseases.

Classification for this position will range from HM25-HM30

What You’ll Achieve

  • Provide clinical care in the outpatient setting in a supervised capacity in Vascular Anomalies, Paediatric Skin and Dermatology clinics.
  • Clinical care of acute general paediatric conditions for patients expected to require admission

  • After hours leadership across the hospital, involving co-ordination of workload an patient care and ensuring the Junior Medical staff are working collaboratively as a team in addition to accute clinical assessment and management of admitted patients including those under the care of sub specialty teams in the Evening Medical Lead role.
  • Your Skills And Experience

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Registration with AHPRA and eligibility for medical registration within Victoria
  • Current enrolment in the RACP Advanced Training Program
  • All International Medical Graduate applicants will need to meet the AHPRA English Language Requirements

    About The Department

    The Department of General Medicine is one of the largest departments at RCH. At any time, a total of 108 staff (Senior Medical, Junior Medical, Nursing, and Administrative) work in the Department. The Department of General Medicine has a range of sub-specialty interests in addition to General Paediatrics and is committed to the delivery of high-quality evidence-based care. There are 3 subspecialty units within it, including Rheumatology, Immigrant Health and Clinical Pharmacology. All units report to the Director of General Medicine.
