Join to apply for the Principal Engineer (Project Management) role at Engeny Engeny is seeking a Principal Engineer (Project Management) to join our Brisbane or Gold Coast Project Delivery team and participate in the growth of our Queensland operations.

The Project Delivery team delivers a wide variety of projects from feasibility stage through to concept and detailed engineering design and construction support.

Engeny is a growing engineering and environmental consultancy with locations across Australia. We have recently joined the Egis group, working as part of a multinational team providing innovative and progressive solutions to our clients.

About The Role

Our Project Delivery team is seeking a Principal Engineer to :

Manage and coordinate project delivery for civil projects and services. Work with other offices to deliver projects across Australia. Review and sign off technical work Participate in client management and business development. Execute projects, delegate and supervise / manage technical work Help build and implement the strategy for the Project Delivery Discipline (in conjunction with existing Principals and Discipline Leaders), focusing within the Local / State government sectors. Enhance and live Engeny's values of respect, people, transparency and performance.

About You

We are looking for at least 10+ years of experience in the planning, development, and management of civil and / or multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects including Local Government (roads, carparks, waterways, stormwater infrastructure)

Qualifications Include

Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent Project Management certification or equivalent (preferred). Demonstrated expertise in Superintendent roles, commercial administration, risk management, project management (construction phase preferred), cost and schedule control, business development. Understanding of applicable project management theory and able to upskill more junior team members Familiarity with the use and application of AS / NZ and local government standards. Confident communication and effective client management skills Advanced understanding of applicable legislation and technical standards / guidelines. Experience developing project deliverables / tender documentation
