YOUR NEW ROLE

As a KEY senior member of the winning national TM team (led and mentored by some of Australia’s most accomplished and internationally renowned TM specialists), reporting directly to the HEAD of TMs, you will relish:

• Having autonomy +taking FULL OWNERSHIP of your own TM practice;
• advising a diverse blue-chip client base in respect of a full spectrum of TM issues relating to searches, contracts, registration, prosecution, opposition, non-use and licensing, infringement actions, dispute resolution and risk management/regulatory compliance;
• partaking in the firm’s business development/marketing initiatives.

WHO YOU ARE

We are interested in hearing from you if you:

• are a registered Australian TM attorney and/or admitted TM lawyer;
• have 4+ years (OR MORE) post-qualification experience in TMs OR have if less than 4 years, minimum 5-10+ years exp. prior as a TM paralegal/assistant;
• Have a strong technical & practical knowledge and of the prosecution process, opposition proceedings and the enforcement of trade mark rights;
• Have proven ability to manage your own TMs cases highly autonomously from start to finish;
• Are proactive, results & deadline focused and excel in your client service & management skills;
