The Opportunity :

We’re on the hunt for a forward-thinking Construction Team Leader NSW to take charge of our Contracting Support Services (CSS) team. This is your chance to lead a high-performing team of estimators, optimise processes, and make a real impact on the profitability and success of Knauf Linings (KL).

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this full-time, permanent role is all about leadership, innovation, and collaboration. You’ll be the driving force behind the estimating function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery.

This role is based at one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in Camellia, NSW.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead with Purpose : Inspire and manage a team of estimators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Performance : Set clear goals, track daily KPIs, and deliver measurable results that align with business objectives.
  • Optimize Processes : Develop and implement streamlined workflows to maximize efficiency and ensure seamless job allocation.
  • Deliver Excellence : Oversee end-to-end estimating activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, with precision, and aligned with commercial targets.
  • Empower Your Team : Mentor, coach, and upskill team members, creating a high-performing, future-ready workforce.
  • Collaborate Strategically : Partner with the National Operations Manager to roll out innovative initiatives that enhance profitability and operational success.

What You’ll Bring :

  • Proven experience leading and managing teams, ideally within estimating or a related operational function.
  • A passion for people development, with a track record of coaching and mentoring teams to achieve their best.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced computer skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a focus on process improvement and delivering financial outcomes.
