Nurse Manager - Emergency Department

Position Profile :

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced candidate to the position of Nurse Manager – Emergency Department.

In partnership with the Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM), the ideal candidate is responsible for;

• Provision of human and material resource management including work health and safety management.
• Complex problem solving to ensure the delivery of quality patient care, through monitoring, evaluating and implementing changes to practice in workforce systems.
• Demonstrating professional leadership and role modelling for nurses.

CAHS is made up four service areas : Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 5,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
