Our not-for-profit client is seeking an experienced and process-driven Payroll Officer to join their growing team on a permanent part-time basis. About the Role :

You will be responsible for accurately processing and maintaining a medium-sized payroll, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and relevant awards. SCHADS Award experience is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong experience interpreting and administering complex awards are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities :

• Process end-to-end payroll for a medium-sized staff group or strong front end processor from high volume environment.
• Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries with a positive, can-do attitude while collaborating with team members and staff in a conscientious manner.
• Stay current with payroll legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant and prepared for any changes.
• Interpret and apply the SCHADS Award and / or other complex awards as needed.
• Proactively identify areas for process, procedure, and systems improvement.
