The role involves meeting and exceeding key performance indicators, demonstrating strong work ethics, energy, commitment, initiative, self-motivation, responsibility, and teamwork.
Primary responsibilities include : Safely mooring and securing the vessel as directed.
Ensuring passenger safety during boarding and disembarking, including assistance with electric wheelchairs.
Assisting ferry crews, operational staff, and check-in staff to facilitate smooth operations.
General maintenance and cleaning of the passenger terminal and wharf area.
Working weekends as part of the roster.
About You You need strong work ethics, reliability, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication with team members and passengers is essential.
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills are required, along with a suitable level of fitness to handle physical demands.
Manual handling of vessel ropes and stores.
Physically fit.
