About Darling Downs

In 2026 our Darling Downs campus in Hilbert is a K-11, co-educational Christian school that is blessed with a spacious and modern campus, set in peaceful and semi-rural surroundings. While the school community is currently small, the learning culture is strong and the potential to grow the school is great. Secondary year groups are being added each year until K-12 is catered for.

About the role

Applications are sought from suitably qualified and experienced educational leaders for the position of Head of Primary.

The Head of Primary is responsible for maintaining and developing the positive culture and community of the primary school, ensuring students have access to high quality teaching and learning. The Head of Primary reports directly to the Principal.

This full-time position is expected to start January 2026 (open to negotiation).If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic teaching team in a growing school, then we invite you to consider this position.
