Road Worker

Casual full-time position + overtime opportunities available
PPE supplied & maintained annually
Based at the Dandenong Depot

Skillinvest is seeking an experienced Road Worker for a casual position with one of Victoria's leading providers in road maintenance services, construction and civil works. Working amongst a friendly and dynamic crew, you will enjoy physical outdoor work, operating power tools & machinery and be willing to learn.

Duties :

General Labouring

Compacting, leveling, and spreading of materials to form roads

Routine road maintenance

Truck driving

Removal of obstructions

Mandatory requirements :

Current Construction Induction White Card

Current Medium Rigid Truck Licence

Current Traffic Management Certificates

Demonstrated industry experience

Physically fit and able to meet manual demands of role

Be available to attend after hours call out (Emergency responses)

Advantageous skills & experience :

Plant Operator Certificate

Current First Aid Certificate

Chainsaw and Polesaw Training

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening, Police Check and Driver History Check.
