Job Title : Team Leader - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : Sydney

Our client is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality medical services and care. As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our clients state-of-the-art imaging department in Sydney. If you are passionate about diagnostic imaging and patient care, we invite you to be a part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET and other diagnostic scans, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and effective manner, following all protocols.
  • Assist physicians in interpreting results, providing timely and accurate reports.
  • Ensure the correct operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of imaging equipment.
  • Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to radiation safety.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical and legal requirements.

Key Requirements :

  • Recognized qualification in Nuclear Medicine or a related field.
  • Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Previous experience in nuclear medicine imaging is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging procedures, and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
