The role

As part of our Human Resources group, the HR Coordinator will provide assistance and support to the HR Operations, Recruitment and Learning and Development teams. This is a part time (0.4) opportunity for a 12 month term.

  • Coordinate the admin for employees' end-to-end HR lifecycle, including on-boarding, employee changes and exit processes.
  • Contract generation and other employment related letters
  • Deliver HR induction to all new starters and ensure the induction pack is kept up to date
  • Provide accurate HR reports and insights to the HR team, Senior Management, and other employees as required
  • Maintenance of HR forms and update policy, procedures, employee handbook and HR intranet pages where necessary
  • Manage the invoicing for the HR function to ensure timely payment by Accounts
  • Manage the HR Service Hub, responding to employee and manager queries, providing advice and guidance on HR policy and process
  • Provide administrative and diary management support to the HR General Manager as required.
  • Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home will be considered for this role._

About you

  • Your skills and experience will include : _
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or similar
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (essential)
  • Highly customer focused with excellent communication and diplomacy skills
  • Strong telephone, verbal, and written communication skills, including an ability to effectively establish working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary HR practices
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise work and meet established timeframes
  • As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a baseline clearance.
