About the Role

The Early Childhood Practitioner – Occupational Therapist position will form part of a small project team delivering community-based, family centred early intervention services to children (under 6 years old) and their families who do not have access to NDIS funding. This will be delivered using a primary service provider / key worker model in natural, community settings including family homes, kindergartens, day care centres, etc.

The Early Childhood Practitioner – Occupational Therapist will be a specialist and have expertise in early childhood development. The Early Childhood Practitioner will be aware of and able to guide others in providing supports in line with the ECIA best practice guidelines.

Travel within the region is an expectation of this role to effectively support our participants and their families.

Supervision and professional development opportunities are available for successful applicants.

This position is fixed term for 12 months and can be full time (part time considered). This position can be based in any Murrumbidgee Office (Hay, Griffith, Albury, Finley, Corowa, Wagga Wagga or Deniliquin).

The role has been classified under the Health Professionals Award as a Level 1.3 with an annual starting salary of $89,591.84 (pro rata) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
