Accountant

Linkforce is a leading integrated maintenance, engineering, and project services delivery business. Founded in 2007, Linkforce started with a small crew of shutdown specialists and a single utility operating in the Pilbara. Our group has now grown to an operational workforce of over 3,000 personnel with an extensive fleet of modern vehicles and equipment that operate nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Costing team and the wider Finance Division. Based at our new CBD head office, this position is offered on a full-time permanent basis.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Financial Controller as part of a high-performing Finance Team that is supportive, agile and has established processes and deadlines. The role has the following principal elements:

• Core accounting duties
• Maintenance and development of workbooks and models that deliver key analysis and assurance of data integrity
• Supporting other cost functions such as payroll and accounts payable

Duties include:

• Creating and posting of EOM accruals for external costs
• Liaising with Procurement and AP regarding transactional queries
• Developing and maintaining models for EOM review
• Performing COGS analysis for a range of entities
• Updating weekly payroll and AP commitments forecast for cashflow management
• Supporting key aspects of fortnightly pay runs
• Ad hoc cost reporting to various stakeholders
• Supporting other areas of Finance as required
• Supporting both internal and external audit processes

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualification in Accountancy
• Ideally CA/CPA qualified, or working towards
• Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in a commercial accounting environment
• Experience using Pronto
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power/ ODBC queries
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and numeracy accuracy
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
