Job summary :

Looking for candidates available to work :

  • Monday : Morning, Afternoon
  • Tuesday : Morning, Afternoon
  • Wednesday : Morning, Afternoon
  • Thursday : Morning, Afternoon
  • Friday : Morning, Afternoon
  • Expected salary : $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities and duties will include :

  • Use of a range of computer software to develop detailed designs and drawings including : Solidworks (CAD / CAE)
  • Research and design of new products and systems, with a focus on cost-effectiveness
  • Modification of existing products or processes to increase efficiency or improve performance
  • Accountable for resolving design and development issues
  • Accountable for ensuring projects run on time and budget
  • Liaise with warehouse foremen as first point of contact for technical advice
  • Purchase and quality assurance of supplier supplies
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Ensure OH&S policies are adhered to
  • Proficient in MS Office applications

    • Suitable candidates will have the following skills and attributes :

  • Either have received or are working towards a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an approved Australian University or recognised equivalent
  • Knowledge and use of the Solidworks drawing program
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
