Operations / Dockhand

Join the team at Sydney Seaplanes as a part-time Operations / Dockhand support personel. Based in the stunning Rose Bay, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of this unique aviation business.

• What you'll be doing
• Assisting with the safe docking and launching of float planes, baggage handling as well as refuelling.
• Monitor aircraft take-off / landings and flight tracking
• Conduct pre-flight safety briefings
• Providing exceptional customer service to passengers
• Check-in passengers
• Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the docks and surrounding areas
• Completing administrative tasks as required
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
• Assist Reservations department
• What we're looking for
• Previous experience in a customer service, deckhand or operations role, ideally within the marine or aviation industries.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive, proactive and flexible attitude
• A valid Boat licence or willing to obtain
• Ability and williness to work weekends and public holidays
